BERNARDS TWP., NJ _  Drew Krause, the principal at Ridge High School, will leave his position effective Jan. 24, after his resignation was formally accepted by the Bernards Township Board of Education earlier this month.

Krause, who has been principal since July 2017, said earlier this month in a letter to parents that he was leaving to go into private industry. Under a June 2019 agreement, Krause is paid $170,163 per year.

Krause replaced retiring principal Frank Howlett Jr. Before becoming Ridge's principal, Krause was the principal at Vernon High School in Sussex County.
